Jean’s story is one of brokenness, love, and redemption. Despite years of addiction and shame, her daughter never gave up on her. Love has the power to heal, even in the darkest places. Like the father in the parable of the prodigal son, Vera waited, hoped, and searched. Through her persistence, Jean slowly found her way back—not just to sobriety but also to faith. This reminds us that no one is beyond God’s love and mercy.
